Tokyo by Pasquale Scalpellino

Tokyo

A robber armed with a shotgun disrupts a restaurant dinner for several people. A Western filmmaker with a strange and risky way of getting inspiration spends an absurd night of bloodshed in the Kabukichō district. A young man has to keep his dream about a shinigami hidden to protect his brother and his girlfriend. Three silver masks in Shibuya rain down from the sky on Halloween night and begin to wreak havoc and death.

These are just some of the events contained in this collection of 7 horror stories, whose name is linked to the city that inspired the author and whose contents will be set in the districts of this capital, mixing modern Japanese traditions with those of the past, showing the city both from the inside and the outside eye of the tourist. Tokyo is thus the first volume in Horror Souls, a series that will give birth to similar self-contained collections of horror stories that will change according to the frightening soul of the city they seek to describe and show.
